Day 1WELCOME TO KASHMIR. ARRIVAL AND TRANSFER TO DAL LAKE
On your arrival in Srinagar our representatives will receive you and transfer you to the luxury houseboat. Relax on the Dal lake, only community settled on the lake with floating gardens and markets. Post lunch take a Shikara ride to Char Chanari, and ride through the local handicraft and fabric market. Get to the shore and walk by the Dal lake in the evening towards Boulevard. It's a lovely hour long walk where the hustle of tourist slowly fades away as you walk further north of the lake. Enjoy Kashmiri local dinner at the houseboat.

Day 2GARDENS OF KASHMIR
After a leisurely breakfast at your houseboat, we will start on our day’s drive to visit the famous gardens of Kashmir, VIsit Nishad and Mughal gardens, the beauty that graced kashmir with the title paradise on earth. These gardens have execute water systems that are still running and they are superbly maintained. From there on drive to Shankaracharya temple in the middle of the city. It houses the grave of the last Shavik saint of Kashmir. The view from the top is stunning and gives a 360 degree birds eye view of the city. Drive back to Lalchowk for lunch there. Visit Adoos for a proper Kashmiri wazwan. Its a treat everyone should try. Spend the evening at the lake. Enjoy another Shikara ride to consolidate the lake experience.

Day 3SRINAGAR TO PAHALGAM
In the morning we will leave for Pahalgam the ‘valley of shepherds’ which is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from river Lidder and Sheeshnag Lake. En route visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built by King Awantivarman. On arrival into Pahalgam enjoy the surrounding beauty of lidder valley, check in to the resort and relax for the rest of the day. The place has lovely riverside walks you can enjoy.

Day 4PAHALGAM LOCAL
Spend a peaceful winter day in Pahalgam wrapped in snow-covered serenity and crisp mountain air. Take a slow walk along the Lidder River, where the frozen banks and pine trees dusted in white create a magical atmosphere. By late morning, head to Aru Valley, which transforms into a snow-laden wonderland in winter. Enjoy the quiet beauty of the valley, perhaps building a snowman or sipping hot tea at a local stall. Return to Pahalgam for lunch, warming up with traditional Kashmiri dishes like Rogan Josh or Dum Aloo at a cozy restaurant. Later, explore the local market. As evening sets in, enjoy a cup of kahwa by a fireplace and unwind with a warm dinner, surrounded by the stillness and charm of a Himalayan winter night.

Day 5PAHALGAM TO GULMARG
Start your day with an early breakfast in Pahalgam before setting off on a scenic drive to Gulmarg, a journey of around 4 to 5 hours depending on weather conditions. The route winds through charming villages and snow-draped pine forests, offering breathtaking views of the Kashmir valley in winter. Make short stops along the way for hot tea and photo opportunities, especially near the apple orchards and snowy bridges around Tangmarg. As you approach Gulmarg, the landscape becomes even more magical with powdery white slopes and towering evergreens. Check into your hotel or a cozy wooden cottage, rest for a while, and then take a gentle walk in the snow-covered meadows. End the day with a warm dinner and an early night, preparing for the adventures ahead.

Day 6GUMLARG LOCAL
Wake up to fresh snow and clear skies in Gulmarg—one of India’s top winter sports destinations. After breakfast, head to the ski slopes, where beginners can take short lessons and seasoned skiers can glide down pristine runs. Take the iconic Gulmarg Gondola—the highest in Asia—for panoramic views and access to higher-altitude skiing or snowboarding areas. For non-skiers, there's plenty to enjoy: snowshoe walks, sled rides, or simply sipping kahwa while watching the slopes from a hillside café. Spend the afternoon exploring St. Mary’s Church or visiting the historic Gulmarg Golf Course, now blanketed in snow. MOUNTAIN FLIGHT DELAYS
Bad weather in mountainous regions can cause flight delays. These problems mainly happen in Ladakh region of India. If the delay is extended it may be necessary for us to re-route the trek and tour, perhaps to an area more readily accessed by road transport. We do not accept responsibility for charges incurred as result of flight delays and missing international flight connections. However, we will make every effort to assist you.

PASSPORT
A valid passport is required for all tourists. The passports must be valid for minimum of six months from the start of journey, with at least two clean pages per country to be visited.
VISA REQUIREMENTS
A valid visa is required for the entire destination. You should always consult your doctor or nearest travel clinic for the latest information on recommended health precautions, both vaccination and malaria prophylaxis.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
GENERAL
Extensive medical kits are carried on all trips. In addition, medical oxygen and Portable Altitude Chambers are carried as a precaution on high altitude treks and climbing expeditions. All meals on trek are prepared specifically for your group to strict hygiene standards, and sterile washing facilities are provided.
HIGH ALTITUDE
Sickness from altitude can affect anyone. Serious problems are avoided by building in rest and acclimatisation. For normal symptoms a drop in altitude, or time in portable acclimatisation chamber, leads to quick recovery.
All trips are graded. There are Easy, Moderate, Challenging and Mountaineering categories.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance that includes helicopter evacuation is highly appreciated
AGE LIMITS
Client over sixty are required to complete a medical and personal travel history questionnaire. Persons under sixteen can join specified family departures and private groups.
